Found at the end of Lorong Mambong, Lola's Cafe new beautiful two-storey space served up a dinner menu that was much better than I remembered - me having been to the OG in Kovan less than a handful of times. 

In their brunch section, the Miso Salmon Grain-Bowl ($19) was a pleasant and safe choice. The hunky slab of salmon was well-seasoned and nicely cooked - a very slight sweet fermented taste from the miso. There was also a great medley of tastes and fun textures from the Quinoa, crunchy Charred Baby Corn, soft Avocado, Hanjuku Egg, Spring Onions, and Furikake. I especially enjoyed the savoury flavour of the grains as often a times quinoa is kinda bland so their rendition was spot
