We got to try the Unagi Gozen at @unagiyaichinoji which comes with unagi chawanmunshi, pickled vegetables, bean sprouts and soup. Greeted with a warm smile by the staff, the restaurant boasts a cozy space with warm lighting that’s great for group gatherings and date nights. The eel’s skin was a little crispy and the char on it was perfect. Best part is that it didn’t compromise the tenderness of the eel. There are also seats in front of the cooking station where you could see the unagi being grilled to satisfaction.
