Note: SMU students and staff enjoy $1 off all bowls

Smoked salmon paired well with the pickled vegetables given which were surprisingly not overly sour/saltish. This may be the first time I actually enjoyed eating the pickled vegetable. However, I felt that there could be more mentaiko given, though I guess this in itself makes the bowl healthier? (But less satisfying...)
Came with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and an onsen egg. The vegetables really helped to make the dish feel lighter and to reset your palate for another bite of the smoked salmon

Overall, tastes healthy and served with an adequate portion of rice. They've distinguished their mentaiko salmon bowl from other stalls by offering smoked salmon. However, if I wanted a satisfying and big slab of salmon drenched in creamy mentaiko sauce, I'll probably go to Big Bowls Project at Amoy Street instead. If you're a big eater, you can always add an extra base for $1.50 or additional protein at their respective prices.
Taste: 7/10
