The popular restaurant uses the freshest ingredients from the highlands of the Yunnan Province, offering specialities such as Steam Pot Chicken Soup, Stir Fried Wild Porcini Mushroom with Dried Chillies, Truffle Rice Noodles in Prawn Broth and many more.

Yun Nans has chosen to open their flagship outlet at Jewel Changi Airport and I am delighted to have the privilege of trying some of their unique dishes such as:

1) Grilled Seabass with Lemongrass (S$22.90). The seabass is firstly marinated with six different types of aromatic spices which complement the sweetness of the meat. It is then skilfully grilled over charcoal till the outer layer is suitably charred and the flesh is tender and moist. A sprinkling of Yun Nans', in-house chilli seasoning mix over the fish lends a finishing touch and amplifies the spiciness of this dish.

2) Poached Pork Collar with Pickled Chillies (S$16.90). Tender slices of pork collar are poached in a unique spicy-sourish broth using Yunnan's specialty pickled chilli. This is a very flavourful and appetising dish that has won unanimous approval from everyone at the table.
