Wanton Mee ($3.50)
⭐️ 4/5 ⭐️
🍴Unlike the usual wanton mee noodles, their version used a thicker noodles that was a cross between traditional wanton mee and fried noodles. We loved how it was al-dente and springy! Even though there was no visible sauce, the noodles were highly flavourful, especially when tossed with their speciality chilli (super spicy!). We also like that it wasn’t as oily as some of the other notable stalls. The lean chasiew was also well-marinated but nothing to shout about, while the dumplings were yummy with a good soft skin:filling ratio. This shop is apparently affiliated to the famous Eng’s Char Siew Wanton mee, and we would say it is a solid alternative, especially if you love fiery chili and less oil!
