Yum cha has rolled out a Mother's Day menu that will be available from 1st to 14th May. The $248++ for 6 pax menu includes the ginseng chicken soup (3rd photo of single serving) and salted egg stuffed scallop (last photo). Ginseng chicken soup is super comforting with the tender chicken and slight ginseng taste. While the salted egg stuffed scallop consist of a prawn and scallop enveloped in a fragrant crispy salted egg batter 🀀

Another dish you can add on is the Rose Floret Bun($16.80++/ set of 9). Why give your mom flowers that will die when you can give her pretty & tasty flower baos?? Pink has red bean and signifies gratitude & admiration. The red bean paste has a slight mandarin peel taste while the bao skin has a slight floral taste. Red bean is good for improving the qi and liver function. Purple represents faithfulness and appreciation to your mother's devotion. It contains purple sweet potato paste which is the healthiest of all sweet potatoes! πŸ’ͺ🏻🍠 It is high in antioxidants (to keep cancer at bay), high in vitamin A (for bright eyes), high in dietary fiber (reduce bad cholesterol)...(the list can go on, PM me for clearer explanation πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚) White represents gratefulness and it is filled w shredded sweetened coconut. The sweetness of the bao fillings are just nice, which would be suitable for our mothers!(as we all know, our mothers never liked overly sweet food)
