I've been missing gong bao frog porridge ever since I moved out from the West, when I used to frequent the Sinma G7 Frog Porridge at Cheong Chin Nam.

This is a good substitute that's readily available for me now. It's decent, but unfortunately lacks the strength of chilli, and the sauce fails to punch through to the interior of the frog. But, I'm glad to be able to have my frog fix near me now!
