Touted by many as having one of the best Hainanese pork chops in Singapore, I have to say I am a bit skeptical of it deserving such an accolade. To me, its "special sauce" tasted neither here nor there but it could be because I am more familiar with tomato-based renditions. At least the pork was lean, of a good thickness and had an evenly breaded coating all over. As a whole though, this was rather ordinary or perhaps, I am not an aficionado of this dish.
