ebi miso ramen with a shot of ebi oil-infused yamazaki. even before the whiskey the thick broth gives off a heady aroma of prawn and pork. it is sweet, savoury and rich at the same time. the whiskey further enhances the sweetness from the prawn and the you get the smell of whiskey in every mouthful of the soup. worth every lip-scalding sip, although the pricetag on this dish ($28, available via @saucy.sg) means that it probably shouldn’t be a daily treat unless you have really deep pockets.
