Pulled Pork Benedict ($14)
Two poached eggs, Hollandaise, Pinto bean salad, Romaine salad, Peri-peri sauce, Hokkaido brioche
- Chilled Peri-peri sauce was slightly spicy, very refreshing, light and citrusy
- Well-seasoned and tender pulled pork
- Pinto bean salad had a hint of lemon juice added and provided earthy notes to the dish
Overall, the thick, buttery and fluffy brioche was the perfect vessel to soak up all the juices from the egg and the pulled pork. The bread was slathered with a layer of sweet chili sauce as well, tying together the savoury eggs and pulled pork.
Taste: 9/10 (Very satisfying breakfast)

Dirty Chai Latte ($6)
Thin consistency, aromatic, spicy kick at the back of your throat, cinnamon fragrance, with coffee that was not bitter.
Taste: 8.5/10

Cinnamon Bun ($3.50)
Bread was soft and moist on the inside though it is denser than normal, it is also more buttery than a typical piece of bread, similar to a croissant. A really sweet and thick coating of icing sugar on its exterior though it is definitely not as cloying as the thick gooey brown sugar glazed sticky cinnamon buns. While I like how the icing sugar provided sweet notes to the rich buttery bun, I think the bun could do without it. Perhaps a light cream cheese frosting instead? More cinnamon filling would also be appreciated
Taste: 7/10
