In case you were unaware, this chain is unrelated to the Mak Mun Kee (Parkes St) which most folks rave about. After seeing multiple 麦尖s pop up all over the island including a joint at The Peak, I decided to give it a shot to gauge the standards and judge. In my personal opinion, I wasted some stomach space. The noodles were as springy and the soup base tasting very similar. However, the key and apparent difference was in the wanton. This 麦尖version is smaller, not the whole prawn and the freshness seems to be lower. I would rather walk back to Parkes St anytime or my wanton mee fix
