It may not be as 'shiok' as the original but this plate of non-spicy Drunkard Noodle Pork ($7.90) was simple and nicely executed! Not that familiar with the dish, I really enjoyed the light profile and found Kra Pow's version to be both homely and comforting with the distinctive aroma of soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce and garlic lending a slightly sweet yet lingering fragrance. Peppered with minced meat and long beans, the small bits of textures were also a nice contrast to the silky and slippery stir-fried rice noodles. Furthermore, soaking up all that flavour from the aromatics, the broad ribbons arrived at our table perfectly soft and chewy.
