Having heard many mixed reviews, I was still drawn in by the great waterfront view and was glad to find more hits than misses for Caffe Fernet's Weekend Brunch Menu. For those like me who enjoy a sweeter profile, the Sheep's Ricotta Agnolotti ($28) certainly fit the bill. Buttery and almost nutty, the bright sauce was the life of the dish laced with the distinct flavours of saffron, honey and thyme working harmoniously together. And though a tad intimated by the possible 'funk" from sheep's ricotta initially, I found the small packages of creamy, fluffy soft cheese simply delightful alone and better when paired with the vibrant sweetness of the sauce.
