The three of us shared a serving of thick-cut fries, tuna quesadilla and a dessert plate of fried banana wrapped in pastry with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. We finished everything except the mountain of fries.

Earle is a more upscale version of the Swensen's restaurant, with a salad bar that comes free with every main dish ordered. This outlet has got a nice view of Sentosa and the surrounding waters. I've been here only once before, because to me the normal Swensen's is already good enough, even for special occasions.

It felt so nice having a leisurely meal, then chilling at the rooftop deck, admiring the sunset and dramatic clouds. It's what we loved to do when we were schoolmates 10 years ago, and nothing's changed. As I sat there enjoying the breeze, I thought to myself... raya is over for me. I have officially run out of pretty dresses and money packets. Salute to all those who are still #rayagamestrong.
