It has a very fragrant and remarkably strong houjicha flavour that packs a consistent semi-sweet and roasted tea kind of punch. The tart base is firm without being too tough to break or a crumbly mess with a fragrant buttery taste to it.

Sure, prices are steep no doubt, but a sweet and memorable experience is what you'll leave the place with.

Ps. I miss their blueberry tart with blackcurrant curd which I've never seen again after my very first visit - PLEASE bring thay back!!! 😭
