Similar to prawns, their chilled drunken crayfishes were fresh and well-flavoured with light and sweet Chinese wine, very appetising to start with.
We picked their salted duck which has been widely posted. The meat was tender and salted to the right level of tastiness to be eaten in its own. Their duck meat XLB was also special and yummy. The bowl of lamien in light soy sauce broth was simple, good and went really well with the rest of our dishes.
Their “lion head”, however, was a letdown with too much fats for our liking. It’s broth was light and tasty though.
On the whole, the experience was an impressive one. The dishes were delicious with some elements of surprise. Not to mention their interior was also beautiful and IG-worthy.
