We enjoyed TONKIN’s well-balanced rendition of this Vietnamese dish. Instead of the usual thicker consistency, the broth is lighter yet still flavourful. Most importantly for me, the broth is not overpowered by tomatoes and you get a distinct crab sweetness. There’s lots of toppings to go along - beancurd, tomatoes, chicken ham and blue crab egg cakes. Was a filling bowl!
