Riding on the donut trend, Simple Café has two stuffed donuts available in Vanilla and Milk Tea flavour, each cost $4.50. Between the two, I prefer the vanilla more as the milk tea cream is lacking in the tea aroma and flavour. Besides their range of cakes, they do have tarts as well and one of them is the Lemon ($8) which has a well-balanced flavour of sweet and sour. The buttery crust helped in complementing the overall flavour and texture while the addition of a mini lemon pound cake at the top gives it the additional zing and boost.
