So, ta da!! The Hakka noodles tossed in pork oil was the able foundation for the meats. The char siew was nice and fatty (probably too fat for most, but i did ask for it) and a surprisingly disappointing roast pork.
It’s not the usual standard but the noodles made up for it, although now I kinda wish I had the patience to queue for the fish soup.
Now I must complete my Mission for this long weekend: Cendol, prata, briyani and anything with lots of cockles or pork lard. PS: carbs consumed during a public holiday or vacation doesn’t count. .
