An wholesome alternative, the blend of finely selected grains used in the mix is free of emulsifier, artificial fragrance, additives and processed starch. So expect less sweet and more guilt-free treats. Topped with matcha mousse and light fresh cream, their signature Matcha MontBlanc ($18.00) was a little denser, doughy and grainy to the usual buttery fluffy pancakes that we are more accustomed to. Perhaps for an acquired taste, the matcha montblanc sauce served together was also relatively bland.
