Checked out this new establishment last week β€” a concept from the folks behind Lola’s Cafe (also the same people behind On The Table and Suzette). The only fried dumpling on their menu, this item carries a Central European influence. Whilst the exterior is crisp without being too thick nor thin, the dumpling is filled with smoked bacon bits, truffle-infused potato mash, caramalised onion and cheddar β€” all of which provided a savoury flavour with a whiff of truffle that is pretty different from the Asian dumpling. Served with Sriracha Crema, it provides a refreshing, yet creamy flavour that cuts through the savouriness of the dumplings.
