Service was great despite the wait - they even serve you a cup of their classic bubble milk tea during your order! If you can’t make up your mind, the helpful servers seem to be really knowledgeable about their teas. They even have small tins of tea leaves on standby for you to sample whiffs of each fragrance before you decide.

I love that the teas are freshly prepared and brewed upon order. It’s an open concept shop space, so you get to see the whole process of measuring the tea leaves, measuring the temperature of water, up to the packaging.

Since their Dong Ding Oolong is a prize winning tea, I went for that base and topped up pearls. I would have like the pearls even softer but they were nicely chewy without the hard centre. Sugar levels are simply 0/50/100, and I like that they are lower than the usuals! Pricey, but it was a tasty cup with pretty distinct tea notes and fragrance. I’d like to try a cup without milk next time for an even better taste of the tea. Although the queue was long, the cups were served pretty quickly.
