Been supporting this shop with china type 串串， pre covid, during circuit breaker and then phase 2. Food is nice and suitable for our local taste. Operated frontdesk by a young lady boss. At first, it was good. Then as it went on to phase 2, we had a bad experience recently when we were going there as 2 persons. Got a seat after waiting for 1.5 hours. Whilst eating, Young lady boss makes weak attempt to be nice, pays lip service and asked us to switch tables to make way for a bigger group of 4-5pax when we were eating halfway. We obliged reluctantly. Then some of our orders didn’t arrive and we went to chase her. Young lady boss told us to might as well cancel the rest of our orders. I said we still wanted to eat. Waited another 10 min and the food didn’t arrive still. My conclusion - the shop has become really profit driven and undoubtedly prefers big tables with big eaters and drinkers than a loyal pair of customers consisting of 2 pax. Profit is king. Loyalty means nothing. Go if u are a big group. Small group of 2 pax u are better off going elsewhere, especially during fri and sat.
