[Halal] Here’s a hearty bowl of sliced beef hand-pulled noodles (made from scratch) soup from Yi Zun Beef Noodle that I had the other week! 😛

This comes in a beautiful Chinese porcelain bowl which was larger than I’d expected it to be. A transparent window faces the dining area, which will give you a pretty good view of the chefs deftly folding in the dough dozens of times to transform it from a thick pillow into noodles.

Taste-wise, I must admit that I’m on the fence about it? I really liked the noodles - they were beautifully chunky, yet possessed a really delicate texture. Also, they were generous with the portion, so much so that I feel like this could feed and satisfy two people. The soup, however, left more to be desired. I’m not quite sure what to make out of it, but I’m certain that where flavours are concerned, I got umami, a little herbal and a tinge of game from it. A rather offbeat combination, but ultimately, this dish is interesting and something pretty new to me. 🤔 (7/10)
