Is this the onset of the family’s post COVID dining trail? Dining out on both days of the weekend after 2(?) months (I’ve lost count) of #stayhome shenanigans.

Was overjoyed when I notice Tonito’s set menu refreshed with a different pasta and an addition of soft tacos. As our 6 dishes (5 from the Burpple Set, and 1 ala carte order) were successively served, I am happy to report that the elation was generally sustained.
While we were missing the fully furnished nachos that was from the previous set, the “naked” nachos served as a nice teaser for a delicious wider variety.

I previously wrote that the quinoa salad won me over and it remains just as paradoxically appetising and decadent.
On the mains, the trustworthy soft tacos at Tonito comes with tender chicken cubes - a benchmark for the Latin American staple. As for the crab pasta, a hearty take on tomato pasta - al dente.

To end off an already solid meal, the tart pineapples atop soft coconut cake drenched with (condensed?) milk and cream for dessert left us rolling out the restaurant with filled bellies (figuratively).
