Lovers of cheese and antipasti, I hope you’re sitting down.
Basilico at The Regent Hotel has rolled out an “All-You-Can-Eat” buffet featuring cheeses from all over Italy (the variety of Gorgonzola alone is shockingly huge and very interesting!). I swear my jaw dropped when I walked into the room and had my first eyeful of the cheeses showcased in all their glory.
The soft cheeses haven’t been forgotten either. They are in the main dining area next to the impressive display of antipasti. So besides the assortment of Crudo (an Italian-style raw fish dish), cured meats, breads and more, you will find the likes of Burrata, Mozzarellone, Smoked Mozzarella and even Treccia (which is made from buffalo milk). Do help yourself to the fancy Italian tomatoes of Pomodoro Roma and Cuore Di Bue plus the several types of olive oils to enjoy with these cheeses.
This Cheese and Antipasti Buffet is available DAILY between 6.30pm and 10pm, and is priced at $58++.
For those of you who like wine, FREE FLOW can be had. The all-inclusive price for that? Only $98++ per head.
