Founded in 1953 and Taiwan’s leading tea chain, TenRen’s Tea has finally reached our shores and their first outlet is opened at Chinatown Point.

With an ambitious plan to open up to 30 outlets across Singapore in the next three years, they truly mean business and will be going head-to-head with established brands such as Koi, LiHo and Gongcha. Tried their signature 913 King’s Oolong Tea with “boba” or more commonly known as pearls, and I was impressed with the fragrance and bitterness of the oolong, something that I feel should be the standard for all tea-based drinks. Watch out the other bubble tea brands because TenRen’s Tea is truly here to stay.
