A little throwback to the day before Singapore entered Phase 2 Heightened Alert where Art’s Four-Course Executive Lunch ($58/ per person) was (one of) my last hurrah.

For dessert, La Fiesta was a competent marsala pan di spagna (marsala sponge cake) with bitter orange and a quenelle of torrone bianco (white nougat) gelato. The gentle nuttiness of the gelato went superbly with the spiced sponge and light citrusy notes of the piped cream.
