I love a good brunch as much as the next cafe-hopper, and every brunch needs eggs, toast, and preferably smoked salmon. Yes, I'm talking about the Smashed Avo & Feta Cheese (S$16), with a side of Smoked Salmon (S$8) from BURN at Club Street. I know, I know - that's an awful lot of avocado and a healthy serving of millennial cliches.

But look at it this way - can you really miss out on this? If fresh feta and sourdough aren't exciting enough, the toasted pecans and pistachios provide enough crunch for little pops of nutty flavour.

My favourite part, of course, is the perfectly poached (organic) eggs, perched atop the sourdough toast. You just know we have to take the money shot - cut it open, and let the yolk flow! Add that to the creamy avocado, and each mouthful is SO DAMN GOOD.
