Deep fried jumbo pork loin (250g). Rosu-katsu uses a richer cut of pork that comes with a strip of fat along the side. It tends to be juicier of because it contains layers of marbled fat. Ma maison definitely did the pork justice.
Their tonkatsu sauce has a sweet and tangy flavor which makes it even better to cut off the jelat-ness which didn’t seem to exist.
The clean flavor of the finely shredded cabbage provided a cool contrast to the richness of the juicy pork.
Highly recommend to pair with their jyukkokumai (multi grain rice).
