I may be on team wafer biscuit, but truly nothing beats the traditional ice-cream bread served by the ice-cream man when it comes to delivering a taste of nostalgia. Not too spongy, soft and simply delectable; Geometry’s rainbow bread double scoop gelato is certainly an elevated version of the childhood delicacy. At $5.40, the National Day special would be available only till tomorrow (Monday, 12 August). Pairing the old-school rainbow-swirl bread with their stellar line-up of gelato flavours, I opted for Pandan Gula Melaka and Earl Grey Tie Guan Yin. The former offering hints of pandan with sweet streaks of palm sugar as well as desiccated coconut while the latter was a fragrant combination with pronounced yet pleasant tea flavour. Yum!
