Exclusive to the newly-open “Forty Hands” in Katong, the burger boasts a housemade patty of chopped beef and bone marrow that’s juicy and tender yet retains a satisfying meaty bite.
Unlike most places that melt a slice of cheddar over their patty, the one here has provolone cheese instead. I must say, the mellow nutty flavour of it is very good with everything else between those buns, namely the sliced tomatoes, onions, lettuce, fat pickles and spicy mayo. Speaking of buns, they use the brioche variety from Tiong Bahru Bakery (but of course).
