It was a helluva shot, as the supremely savoury and fantastically fatty slices of Spanish swine overflowed from the bowl. The thin slices of pork shabu shabu were cooked in a sublime sauce, thoroughly inundating both fat & meat with an abundance of awesome flavours. The glass vermicelli noodles that accompanied the pork were completely overshadowed by the perfect porcine, and it felt like an unctuous but unnecessary garnish. The soft, sweet onions were absolute heaven, and it’s the perfect companion for the pork.⠀

Believe it or not, there’s a hefty amount of well cooked Japanese rice under all that. Mix that with the sauce from pork and the explosive onsen egg that’s perfect for your #eggporn needs, and you get a veritable volcano of stellar scrumptiousness.
