Pastry + Drink
🍴Redeemed 1-1 pastry + drink with @burpple to enjoy on a picnic at ECP. At $6.50 each (without discount), their tarts are relatively affordable and worth a try! The crisp and thick pastry was just the right level of buttery goodness to pair with the delightful fillings.

Would recommend the 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 (4.5 ⭐️) that was an enjoyable mix of Japanese soy-milk flavoured mochi, red bean and Kinako. While it seems like an odd combination, the soft and chewy mochi paired well the crisp tart base. If nitpicking, we did feel that it could do with slightly more infusion of or dusting of Kinako to enhance the roasted soybean flavour. Black sesame lovers would also be excited to know they offer a black sesame mochi version!

The 𝐲𝐮𝐳𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 (3.5 ⭐️) was on the lighter, creamier side with mild refreshing tartness from the yuzu. As a fan of yuzu, personally would have preferred for richer tang and citrus flavour.
