Seasonal tendon @Kohakutendon is this sakura tendon that’s chock full of ingredients all carrying a pinkish hue. Notable tempura pieces includes soft shell crab, prawn, dry sakuraebi, squid, chicken breast and bamboo shoot drizzled with a generous layer of metai mayo. I’m most amazed by the bamboo shoot which is usually too pungent for my liking but I ate this with much satisfaction. As usual, all the tempura coating the tendon was light and crispy and each piece was fried to perfection. I judge this from the chicken breast piece that remain juicy and tender despite having been deepfried. My only issue with this tendon bowl was the cresson/watercress leafs that did little to enhance the flavour of the bowl with its rather raw taste.
