The lure of the 100% basmati rice, turmeric marinated fried chicken wings and sambal chilli is just too inviting to give it a miss. The nasi lemak at Mizzy Corner never fails and being a legend in her own rights, it rightly deserves a place in the nasi lemak hall of fame. On this day, the Chicken Wings Set ($3.50) is joined by a fish otah ($1) that’s wrapped in banana leaf and grilled. As compared to previous experiences, today’s basmati rice is lacking the lemak-ness which might be due to the coconut milk while the sambal is slightly too sweet for my liking. Nonetheless, it is still a very solid plate of nasi lemak that I would return many times over.
