Located right under MBS’s massive cloud-like installation, Drift, Renku Bar and Lounge exudes sophistication and comfort with their cosy clusters of wingback chairs and plush couches. However, the best part is still the array of delectable nibbles and creative tea blends.

From the variety of sweet and savoury treats on offer, my favourites were the not-so-petite Smoked Salmon with Garlic Cream Cheese, textured Tomato Burrata with Macadamia Pesto on a crusty bruschetta (so guud, I had 3) and lovely White Chocolate Chantilly Berry Tarts. And of course other finger sandwiches, pralines, chocolate bonbons and dainty confections are up for grabs though note that selections vary daily. Renku’s fresh house-made scones were really great too! Warm, slightly crumbly and golden on the outside; the plain and cranberry-studded scones were served with luscious orange butter, clotted cream and tangy strawberry preserves.

What’s more, tea lovers will definitely be impressed by their many teas from ETTE! Rolling up to your table, the custom tea trolley is where all the tea magic happens with the Tea Master creating bespoke artisan tea if the selection off their menu doesn’t catch your fancy. Making use of the ingredients picked from their garden, you can build your own blend with a base of green, white, oolong and black tea. But for the lazy me, I enjoyed the exclusive Marina Pearls for its mellow Jasmine fragrance as well as delicate floral-fruity notes from the marriage of Lily Blossom, Lychee and Juniper Berries. (Psst… you also get watch the tea master in action performing Chinese Traditional Gongfu Tea and bring home samples of the teas you tasted there)

Overall, loving some quality girl-time with my bff, the experience was made even better with the friendly staff attending to us. Shoutout to the adorbs Jackie and Tea Master Drake!
