Affordable food can taste good too. We have tried a 2400 yen tendon (shall not name it) but we didnt it, but we particularly like tempura with soba by tendon tenya.
Some background information about the store: “Tenya is the most successful Tendon chain restaurants in Japan. The Tenya's mission has been to provide customers with high-quality Tendon and Tempura”. Indeed their tempura taste legit and they are less than 10 sgd 😋. While we like their tempura, we were surprised that their soba noodles are at a thicker side. We prefer it to be less thick. However, they serve legit tempura and it is definitely worthwhile trying if you are in Japan and to have a quick fix for tempura or tendon craving!
