I walked up the street and found this old school bakery.
Chocolate Swiss roll $3 YES THE WHOLE ROLL COSTS $3
And a Pandan layered cake $1.30
The chocolate swiss roll was light and spongey. The buttercream was soft and buttery. But tasted more like they had mixed in fresh cream into it, which left me quizzical. π€
The Pandan layered cake was so awesome. π The green Pandan layers had a strong Pandan aroma and had a light salty taste to it. The cake layers were moist and tasted great!
All in all, when Melissa is sick. Cakes are the best meds! π
All of this was washed down with some legit Thai Milk Tea from @geneoxide π
