Having tried dohkie previously and found majority of the flavour leaning more towards the cloyingly sweet side especially when you consume one cup by your own, I was actually afraid that the level of "matcha" would be disappointing for me, but I'm glad to say that it didn't happen and the cookie dough truly lived up to its description of being "bittersweet", with the matcha profile surprisingly strong, with an earthiness that lingers in your mouth๐คค
The sugar high comes in the form of white chocolate chips embedded in the cookie dough, which I love, albeit being super sweet, though I don't deny I would much rather have them omitted for maximum matcha enjoyment ๐
