There’s been a lot of hype about Dumpling Darlings and I’m glad to have made my way here! For a $16 lunch set, you get to order a bowl of noodles, a portion of dumplings and an iced tea. The noodles (as I’ve read online) are made fresh daily and has the right amount of bite. They also come with a serving of the tamago egg and very generous portions of fried shallots. I had the braised pork noodles and the sauce is slightly savory (just the way I like it) and the fried shallots gave the dish some crunch. I also had the original dumplings and the balance between the wrapper and the fillings is perfect! The wrapper thickness is just about right to hold in the fillings. There’s no picture of the iced tea but I ordered an osmanthus puerh (again, made in-house) and it is a refreshing end to the meal. It’s been awhile since I’ve been impressed with a new restaurant and I highly recommend everyone to give this restaurant a try!
