Have been eyeing this for a loooong time! When they first started, they only sold lamb skewers. Now there is chicken and pork skewers (and brown sugar pearl milk) too! Chicken skewers are $4.50 for 3. Lamb skewers are $5.40 for 3. When I got the takeaway bag, I was kind of shocked, because it was hugeee. Like bigger than my bag?? But alas, when I got home and took it out, the size was actually maybe jus 25% more than Tori q's length. With the one for one burpplebeyond, it was pretty worth it! Got the normal level of the chilli and cumin powder, and it was spicy enough already! Meat was well marinated. And not too chaotah, though I saw the staff snipping off the chaotah parts. The skewers are freshly grilled upon order! But that means they need time to prepare the order.. it was a 15mins wait, when there was only one customer before me.. Also, so glad that I bought it today, because my mom is making the whole family go on a no-rice diet.πŸ€” With sweet potato / taro as the carbs; one Non-veg dish (always not enough for me) and a veg dish. Since I don't take veg, I feel like I have been on a hunger strike. Haha! ended up cooking cuttlefishball on day 1, otah on day 2, and now this chicken skewer on day 3 as my added protein. πŸ˜‚ #alatiskewers #burpple #burpplebeyond #burpplesg #burpplebeyondsg
