I'll give the chef credits for ensuring these thick hotcakes were cooked! But other than that pancakes that would not go on my pancakes list because 1. It didn't look like a work of art 2. Taste wise: nondescript.. Maybe the unconventional shape of hotcakes (that reminds u a little of a soft, moist and dense muffin) might impress some but not me! Parmesan cheese truffle fries were overwhelming too with the poor fries that did not leave us going "you can't stop at one".. (In fact we stopped after a few bites) The buttermilk scone look appetizing and tasted great when served freshly heated, but after it cooled there was a floury aftertaste to each bite which was rather unpleasant.
