I chose the genmaicha flavour, which is only available for a limited time till end of July. In case you are wondering, genmaicha is a roasted brown rice Japanese green tea that differs greatly from matcha, with a lingering roasted flavour and aroma. Texture was smooth and creamy, with a distinctive earthy note and roasted flavour that had a subtle lingering aroma. However, the flavour seemed to subside gradually which depleted my enjoyment ... or perhaps it's the rich cocoa flavours of the brownie that overpowered it? 🤔 Almost 80% of the ice cream flavours are premium here hence do expect more damage incurred to your pocket. Samples of ice cream are provided upon request but the portion provided was really meagre that I could barely taste the flavours 😞. Prices are pretty steep for a neighbourhood ice cream cafe but makes a great refreshing treat for yourself when the weather shows no mercy(if you are in the vicinity) .
