I haven’t had the chance to dine at the first outlet of Coexist but when the second outlet opened recently in Keong Saik, I jumped at the opportunity before it gets crowded. What stood out as a difference for this outlet was the offer of grain bowls and their varied menu over different timings.

For $13, you get to choose a base, a protein, 2 greens, a topping and a dressing. Most proteins would require an additional $3 or even the premium proteins that are priced at $6 per serving. These include salmon and flank steak. I had the kimchi fried quinoa as my base which was an interesting Asian flavour on quinoa, halibut with pesto sauce as protein, Cajun spiced roasted cauliflower and mushrooms as my greens, furikake as topping and orange vinaigrette as the final dressing. Portion was decent but the overall taste was a tad salty.

There’s also the brunch menu that serves coffee, croissants and desserts while small bites and cocktails at night.
