I am quite surprised to find an ox tail dish in a zichar-ish restaurant and the Braised Ox Tail and Beef Shank ($30) turned out good! Although the ox tail and beef shank are not fall-off-the-bone tender, they are not tough and there is quite a satisfying bite to it. I’m not sure what the sauce entails (tastes like fermented beancurd to me) but it is very hearty and flavourful - definitely the kind of stew that goes very well with rice.
