Located at POMO, Montana Brew Bar plays with waffles the unusual way. With flavors such as matcha and cinnamon apple, the truffle lover in me chose the Truffle Jalapeño Mac & Cheese ($12.50) with a fluffy soufflé base. The waffle was delicious, with an interesting take. Savory, this waffle comes with a Jalapeño dip that is not spicy. With the waffle cut into quarters, the portion may seem small but do not underestimate it - it will fill your stomach to the brim. Do bring along a friend and share a waffle as it could be too filling for a person to have one alone! If you're looking to take gorgeous Instagram photos, here's a tip - sit near the middle, behind the wall with utensils, as having the black background can make your food pop!
