A dish to wake you right up, the Dak Galbi Baked Eggs ($16) was a fun marriage between the classic Korean chicken stir-fry and the familiar brunch item involving poached eggs in a spiced sauce. Perhaps a little too intense for me, the Korean Shakshuka was overpowering a lot of the other elements (rice cakes and meat) in the pan and rather spicy in my opinion. However, I can definitely see the appeal as the tanginess had a unique hearty quality that was different from the usual tomato-based sauce. The sourdough was good too!

Thank you @karacafesg for having us & @burpple for the kind invite!
