Brasserie Fritz’s rendition of the classical Burgundian specialty. Wagyu brisket braised in rich red wine sauce with carrots, mushrooms, shallots, celery and interestingly grapes are on the plate. The sauce was much lighter in tone compare to the usual burgundy colour but definitely flavourful. Wish they could provide slices of baguette to wipe off the sauce on the plate. Wagyu brisket was perfectly braised as the meat was soft and easily torn apart. Though I’m not quite sure with the portion but it’s sufficient enough for one as main dish. RM58 per serving.
