they even served torched tamago together with the rice.
look at the amount of relatively thick slices of torched sashimi, I cannot even see my rice anymore! for the price, it is pretty worth it for the quality and amount of sashimi.
but some sashimi are not meant to be torched - like swordfish and scallop. great attempt for aburi lovers, but I'd still choose their normal chirashi don anytime!
one thing to note, the new place at ngee ann is simply so much more spacious than the one at far east! currently still at soft launch, their grilled items are not available.
